What you need to know about Salvation
Lets start this off by saying that everyone is in need of salvation. When we look at the definitions they both apply. We need the salvation of the Lord in our lives, which is quite evident given the times we live in. We must first realize that this is a matter of great concern. It is so important that we teach our children especially, the seriousness of it now rather than later. We have to take every opportunity to share what we know with others and then take responsibility for that which we chose not to do.
There are many people who are planning what they are going to do for the entire year with no thought to those who are concentrating on surviving the next few hours. As we age it should become painfully obvious to us that tomorrow is not promised and we ask that most important question, " If you were to die today where do you think you would go?"
There are so many people in and out of church that think they are saved and they will be okay. But the truth of the matter is they will be thoroughly disappointed. We must not take God or the gift of salvation through Christ Jesus for granted. It is important that we know, that we know we are truly saved. If you have any doubt there is a great possibility that you may not be. So take the time to study along with us, so that you can be assured of your salvation.
